| my brother is married now. ridiculous. it's like having to admit being a grown up finally. I'm up for a promotion. We'll see how that goes... again, with the being a grown up thing.
I'm listening to the most beautiful song right now and it's making me feel incredibly peaceful. Music amazes me so much. more and more these days. I've become friends with a couple of musicians overseas recently and am amazed at the beauty of their music. I think it could possibly be their accents and their use of words. A special art of their words that american english seems to have lost these days.
anyway. it's beautiful, and a very pretty way to bring the new year in.
and on that note... happy new year.

| Sooooo, my brother is getting married! December 22nd is the date.
It has to happen soon, Karla (my future sister in law), Karla's mother is very ill and has found that there are really no other options left, so we want to have the wedding as soon as possible.
Karla works with a tutoring company in Raleigh that works with local public schools and Kyle is the General Manager of a Goodberry's in Raleigh while he finishes his MBA at Elon Univ.
They are going to be living just outside of Raleigh where they know they can find a less expensive place to live.
I'm so excited for the wedding! All of my family is coming down for it. And I have to say, my bridesmaids dress is gorgeous! Although, i had asked for something hideous with a big floppy hat and HUGE bows... but Karla opted for pretty instead : P
I'm happy to be gaining such a sweet sister in law! YAY!

| I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go white water rafting in West Virginia!!! I'm SOOOOOO excited! I'll be back Sunday afternoon, so it's a very very short trip... but YESSSS it's rafting! My FAVORITE thing EVER!
